  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Enjoyable! A lot going on which meant I was never bored and was constantly learning. :)

  • I felt like a normal employee, rather than 'just' a student placement.

  • Whenever I asked for help I was given constructive comments of guidance.

  • At times, I did feel snowed under, however this sometimes could not be helped! I learnt a lot about managing my time under pressure.

  • A lot of responsibility! Felt like I was trusted to make decisions and not feel doubted by anyone. Treated like a normal, full-time employee. :)

  • I have learnt an incredible amount of valuable skills to assist me during my career.

  • Quiet at times, but nice to work in!

  • There were always projects and tasks that needed to be worked on.

  • I didn't receive much training, however it is not really needed.

  • I can come back part-time whilst in my final year and has been mentioned that I'd be welcome back after I graduate!

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • A few pub nights and after-work meals.

  • Nice and average.

  • There could be a couple more bars, but not atrocious!
