  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • A very enjoyable two weeks spent engaging in a variety of work and meeting people from all sectors of the organisation.

    • Was frequently told how my work and research fitted into the work that fee-earners were engaged in.

    • Everything was always explained fully, and, if not, I never felt out of my depth due to a great support network being in place.

    • Very useful seeing how the law is applied in a practical situation and the importance of commercially tailored advice.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structured with room for managing your workload alongside overview sessions. However, I would have preferred all practice talks to be in blocks rather than splitting up the day.

    • Everyone was extremely welcoming and it wasn't long before I felt part of the team.

    • Practice overview sessions and talks helped provide useful knowledge.

    • Had to be in charge of my own workload so was very much aware of how life would be like within the company.

    • Spending two weeks in one department and meeting on socials a large number of employees allowed me to explore the culture very well.

    • £250 per week for two weeks.

    • Very good opportunities for networking especially pro bono work.

    • Well organised and very enjoyable.

    • Pro bono is a big thing at this organisation with people really investing their time in charitable causes.
