  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I loved every minute of it, they gave me a huge amount of different opportunities.

  • I felt like part of the team within weeks.

  • Everyone was there to help me out whenever I asked a question.

  • There wasn't a day in my placement where I wasn't busy.

  • I was given a lot of responsibility but it was all monitored by my manager in case I needed any help.

  • I feel that I have used a lot of skill my degree has taught me as well as a lot of new skills that I can take back to uni with me.

  • The office was a great atmosphere all the time witch really helped me to get work completed.

  • The placement was organised with only a few issues letting it down.

  • I have completed a course as well as going on a few site visits.

  • If I did get offered a job at the end of my placement I would seriously consider it.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • All the placement students were a laugh and there were plenty of us to go out after work.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • It is fairly cheap for the south.

  • In the center of Southampton there are plenty of clubs.

  • There are plenty of opportunities if you ask around.
