The Role
It was a really enjoyable experience. I definitely learned a lot and it was great meeting so many great people. I now know what I want to do after I graduate.
All of my colleagues were great to work with. They seemed to value my contributions and it made the atmosphere in the office very friendly.
Great support and guidance was given. After the training at the start of the internship, more training was provided on the job and it was a great way to learn new skills. I could ask for feedback so that I knew how to improve.
I wasn't too busy on any given day. It was a pretty good balance actually and I enjoyed coming into the office everyday. The work was varied.
I was given quite a bit of responsibility during the internship, making some important decisions. I was always overshadowed by my manager so I didn't make any glaring mistakes which was good.
The skills I have developed will definitely help me in the future. I picked up a lot of new skills and I improved skills such as communication which I feel is important to help me in my professional career.
The Company
The atmosphere was great. Everyone in my team was really friendly and willing to help. The atmosphere was never tense or too serious which made working actually enjoyable.
The internship was organised very well. From the induction to the events that were organised for the interns, I always knew what was happening. The events were great.
The induction at the start of the internship was the first taste of training I got and it was great to just get to know about the business and how it works. We did more training during the internship and my manager gave feedback so I could develop myself personally.
Company Parties/Events
The feedback from my manager was great and I was offered a graduate job!
The Culture
The social scene was very good among the other interns. We got to know each other pretty quickly and I made some friends for life. We organised events together quite often after work.
London is a fairly expensive place to live. I knew this before but it still took a bit of getting used to.
The nightlife was brilliant. There is a lot of choice -- the bars and clubs that we went to were really great. There is something for everybody.
There were quite a lot of opportunities both inside and outside of work. The interns organised some events for after work and also the company organised some networking events which were great to get to know some of the employees in the business.
