  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Project was right level as I had previously never used Java (which they knew, others with more experience were assigned harder tasks)

    • Quiet department, people get on with their work, but very approachable and helpful if you do need it

    • Very helpful manmager, again let me get on with it until I had a problem

    • Not stresssful as no real deadlines to hit

    • Realisitically I can't be expected to work on front end applications, as they have a deadlines and I have little experience

    • Very useful if I decide to take this career path, not useful for my degree

    • Quiet

    • Good training, took an age to get required admin rights

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • They are paying me well for 10 weeks where I contribute very little, so that in itself is an investment, they want you to succeed here and will offer a graduate place if they think you are good enough, you are not competing against other interns. Good initial financial training

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Other interns are who I spend most of my time with after work, and there are some great guys

    • London. 'nuff said

    • Lived shoreditch area so some great clubs and bars around

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • Made most of the opportunities myself by meeting other interns for drinks/driving range (just near the office) etc. A couple of intern (free!) drinks events which were great.
