The Role
I was given quite a lot of responsibility with great perks
We work as a small team, where my work is used by my managers on a regular occasion
I felt very confortable to ask any questions and to speak to my managers if I had a problem
At the end of the week I manage my workload, so I have the potential to find further jobs to do
Some aspects of my job were passed on and used in presentation and to address a different business aspect
I undertook an advanced excel course which will help me significantly in university and with my degree in the future. I also participated in sessions to improve presenting skills
The Company
Whilst working in a small department, we go out for lunch together to get away from the office
The interniship training was very good and clear.
The company puts a lot of time and effort into training and learning more about the business through lunch'n'learns where we get an insight into another aspect of the company
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Travel loan
There unfortunately is not a graduate scheme and the staff turnover in my department is very low
The Culture
There is a large group of interns, so it is easy to make friends and socialise outside of work
London is a very expensive place to live. You just need to know where to go and limit how often you can go out
Plenty of places to choose from!
If you do a bit of research there are plenty of things to get involved in
