    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It started out tough as I had to learn alot at a fast pace. As the placement went on I felt myself grow in confidence and grow into my role at Warner Bros

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • My team were beautiful people. Would never ever be afraid to come to them about anything whatsoever.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My line manager dedicated a lot of time and resources to making sure I was developing as a person. I owe him a lot.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I can not recall one time in my placement, except perhaps the first few days, where I was not occupied and had a project to work on

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was shocked by the responsibility I had! I was sent around Europe on multiple occasions and also on my own. I learnt so much from these experiences and am extremely thankful

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I can enter my final year with full confidence knowing I have vastly improved my time management, attention to detail and presenting skills

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Very laid back atmosphere with a great working relationship with every person in the office! I was always surprised as to how much work we achieved with this atmosphere

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Perfect. As soon as I arrived I had a desk set up for me and was given Intern training throughout the year by the excellent HR department

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • As mentioned, my team did so much for me this year. I am extremely humbled and have the utmost respect for each and every one.

  • Nothing can be promised of course - but I would like to think I have left my mark and would love to be back.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • there were around 40 WB interns, so the social aspect was great

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I lived at home and commuted in, so my living costs were low. If you do not have the luxury of living at home I can imagine London being very costly.

  • Central London :)

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were team birthdays for example and a football team
