  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • the worst internship I had ever done, Startup china misled me into thinking I was working for a law firm with fluent english speaking employees and doing tasks that will imrove my skills.

  • I was not valued by SC whatsoever, they did not care about my opinion and did not try to fix my situation.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Startup China took me to my work to show me how to get there they did not support me when I told them I was unhappy with my internship. At my internship, no one spoke english so I couldn't get any support or help with tasks.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • mainly bored my tasks were not challenging at all, even when I asked for more challenging work. I could have done most of the work from my home in london.

  • most of my tasks were obviously made up. The company did not need an intern.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The internship was the worst I have ever done. When I told SC this they did nothing about it and turned a blind eye as soon as they had my money in their pocket

  • they obviously didnt look into the firm I was working at and managed to find the internship only 2 weeks before I was meant to start it!

  • startup china did nothing for me apart from take my money and place me in a firm where a non-mandarin speaking intern can learn nothing

  • the interns were lovely! they were very nice and welcoming.

  • Shanghai was quite cheap
