  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Very useful experience and very enjoyable! I met lots of lovely people and learnt a lot

    • HSF was a very friendly and welcoming firm, everyone you spoke to was eager to answer any questions which was very helpful

    • I always felt like I knew what I was doing, and was comfortable to ask any questions

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • All information was very helpful in order to make important career decisions. I would also now feel more comfortable if I was invited for an interview. It has been nice to share my experiences with other friends who are interested in HSF

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structured. There was a useful range of activities and the timetable was useful to refer to. However, it would have been nice to have access to this prior to arrival

    • Very well organised. All staff were very welcoming and made you feel comfortable

    • Very well organised and put together scheme from which I learnt a lot. There had clearly been a lot of preparation involved, and all staff were willing to help you

    • There is no better way to understand the ethos of a law firm than actually experiencing it first hand and talking to those who work there

    • Yes, talking to the staff was very helpful and I enjoyed presentations that touched on this also

    • Up to £100 of expenses and a hotel paid for

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes the evening event was very useful for this, and during the day there was lots of opportunities to meet a whole range of staff

    • Yes the evening event in covent garden and to an art gallery was fabulous and a really useful opportunity to interact with staff

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • Yes I enjoyed talking to employees about the sports and pro bono opportunities available at the firm, which all sounded very interesting!

    • Yes this was an invaluable experience! Which I also thoroughly enjoyed
