  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • to begin with I did struggle to learn all the rules and regulations but once I got settled I started to really enjoy myself

  • colleagues were coming to me asking for support on projects and valuing my opinion and input

  • had regular catch ups with my manager to discuss progress and goals

  • I was not very busy to start with, but I was allowed to choose to work on more projects to increase my workload

  • I was allowed to lead campaigns and make crucial financial business decisions

  • I have learnt many skills and mainly improved transferable skills. I have gained a lot of valuable experience that has helped me gain another internship.

  • good balance of fun and work

  • some projects were set up very well and organised. Although there were times where I didn't have a lot of work and had to find my own

  • I went on many UK work trips all funded by my company. I was allowed to visit many customers and undertake training to improve skills

  • It is a good company, very supportive, many opportunities to 'work your way up' and experience a range of roles

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • there were about ten other interns so there was opportunity to have social nights with them. Colleagues tended to be a bit older so did not socialise outside work with them very much

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • can be a fairly expensive area. It is near London so can be expensive, however depending on the area there are much cheaper areas

  • few pubs, near London night life though which is great but expensive

  • I did not come across much
