About You
Everybody was very welcoming and supportive throughout the Vacation Scheme. I was given good quality work by a variety of people.
I always felt comfortable asking questions or negotiating deadlines for work. The HR team were fantastic and very supportive throughout.
In particular, the presentations given by a partner from each department were very insightful.
The Company
The structure was excellent. There were plenty of presentations by fee earners, trainees and HR and these all imparted very useful advice.
The atmosphere was great. The cocktail making social was on the first Tuesday, giving everyone a chance to get to know each other well early on.
The skills presentations were great.
Everyone was very willing to chat and give you their personal insight to the firm.
Everything Else
We spent both weeks in one department which limited the exposure to other employees but many of the 'buddies' from different departments attended the socials.
There is an opportunity to shadow trainees at CSR events such as the Islington Law Centre.
