  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I really enjoyed it. I liked the range of activities.

    • the firm was the most approachable and friendly firm in my opinion, those who worked there seemed to genuinely enjoy working with each other

    • a lot of guidance, I had multiple opportunities to ask questions.

    • it has enabled me to see that, even at this stage of my career, I can tell the differences between firms and when applying for vacations schemes, I will definitely be making more informed choices

    • very well. I liked the fact that two days were offered to first years and the shadowing was excellent

    • highly approachable and cooperative

    • generous to pay travel expenses

    • first and only opportunity I have had thus far to shadow solicitor at such a global firm

    • very helpful to meet trainees at different stages of their traineeships, and to see how the trainee seats can differ and the different approach of various principals to working with the trainees

    • very helpful, for the first time I feel confident that I could answer the 'why linklaters?' question - I can recognise differences in the firms when I had previously been unable to

    • paid for train and hotel

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • frequent opportunites, meeting solicitors and the graduate recruitment team was helpful to give a range of persepectives

    • very enjoyable. making pizza, informal drinks and ice breaking made the scheme very comfortable and I made some great friends

    • yes, I was asking about the holidays and sporting teams, those were encouraging

    • absolutely. the best option available to first years
