  • Always a challenge, and fun time.

  • I was involved in all meetings, and asked for advice in projects

  • People in my department were always open to questions, as well as Intel's open door policy.

  • Because of the nature of the job, some times I was really busy, other days the load was very light.

  • I flew to other countries alone to set up new offices as well as ran a number of my own projects.

  • Most useful year of university so far!

  • Unless there was a major project, the office was always buzzing

  • Everything had been planned. At the start though, there were a few questions.

  • I was offered training in any area I felt I needed training in.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We had an intern committee that organised social events, as well as team socials.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Swindon is pretty cheap, as long as you head to the centre of town

  • There are a number of clubs and bars open to all in main town Swindon

  • Intel runs a number of outside clubs and offers opportunities to take part in external projects
