The Role
Thrown in at the deep end but was amazing experience.
With working 40-60 hours a week, colleagues become more like family. We bonded outside of work with races and christmas together.
While staff where always there they didnt care about our degrees.
The majority of days meant diiffernt tasks, there was nrver time to be bored.
The roles I took on were supervisor roles completing work that other staff that been years before me couldnt complete.
The skills obtained are appliable to any job although I would of prerred more roles applicable to my degree.
The Company
The start was very fun, as most places friends leave and it became more of a struggle to have fun.
While the placement was long standing the time i went was the first time with a new visa company, the process was mismanaged and stressful.
There is a lot you just have to learn yourself, you would only succeed by taking initiative.
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I personally couldnt see myself in that position for long term but was a great year.
The Culture
Apart from the ones I didnt get on with I bonded well and went out.
Very Expensive!!
Sometimes you have to find places but Boston was full of them!
If work was quiet there was plenty of opportunity!
