    • The staff at the animal unit are always so helpful and friendly, and really make you feel part of a team.

    • The skills learned on the placement are not only helpful toward my degree but are vital skills needed for my career in animal care.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Daily routine is easy to pick up, plus there were different tasks everyday that were easily managed by being written on a board

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • Working with the staff, other students and even the animals was an amazing experience, and although sometimes it was hard work it was still fun and confirmed that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.

    • Lots of opportunities outside of the unit, such as farm work, lambing and equine.
