The Role
A great experience, I learnt a lot of new skills
I feel they could of sometimes done the job without me, however i think they appreciated me when we had to complete the job fast and accurately
Not very much support was given
Not to busy however I spent my time asking what jobs i could do
very little responsibility
Alot of skills I will use, i gained alot of knowledge through the placement
The Company
About what i would expect
I was very well organised on my placement
very little was given in terms of training
Subsidised Canteen
I could see my self working with them if i was given the opportunity to be offered some more training opportunities with them. About what I would expect to see myself doing in a few years time when i apply for a real job. Being employed to this company would be really exciting.
The Culture
No not really, I did not see many other placement students.
Average, about what i expected. Definitely worth going on placement for the experience as this will help me when applying for a job in the future.
I do not know. I did not experience this as I was too tired.
None that i know of, i did not know of many opportunities that i could have gotten involved in and none where shown to me. They were focusing more on the job in hand rather than helping me gain experience in the world of work.
