  • I thoroughly enjoyed my placement at L'Oreal.

  • My team were always looking out for me and very supportive.

  • The support and day-to-day advice I received from my line manager was beyond fantastic.

  • My workload was busy but manageable.

  • For an intern, I was actually given a high level of responsibility and was placed in charge of major projects.

  • I developed lots of transferable skills, such as time management, presentation, negotiation, and Microsoft Excel skills.

  • The brand I worked on within L'Oreal always had a very energetic vibe and positive lively atmosphere.

  • There was a basic structure and lots of movement and flexibility within that.

  • There weren't many specific training days/sessions, but I was constantly learning and developing on the job.

  • You can apply for the Management Trainee scheme during your internship. I was fortunate enough to be able to secure a place on the scheme!

  • There was a good intern community at the company, with an intern committee planning socials.

  • The cost of living in London is typically high.

  • Lots of nearby bars and pubs, and decent nightlife in London is never too far away.
