  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I really enjoyed my time on UmPhafa

    • All the staff were really friendly and helped us to fit in to the team straight away

    • The staff were all really supportive

    • Days were long and sometimes hard work but always enjoyable

    • As a team, we were given lots of responsibilities during the day

    • I learnt lots of valuable skills while on UmPhafa and has really helped me to enhance my career.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Day to day life on UmPhafa was a lot of fun, not like any other job!

    • The organisation was well run although could have been better. Some days were slightly less organised due to the nature of the organisation.

    • The are few employment prospects within the company but if any were to arise I would consider applying

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • The rest of the volunteers were all really nice and we got on well together

    • Cost of living was included and the cost of socialising was very cheap
