The Role
The team was lovely, and very welcoming, however the role was quite administrative and I would have preferred more responsibility.
The whole team was very friendly and welcoming. Nicest group of people I have worked with so far.
The team were happy to help and answer and questions I had. Felt comfortable going to any member of the team.
Very busy sending out samples. Non stop day but was interesting and meant that interns didn't get bored.
Responsibilities were mainly administrative. Was given several opportunities to do more though.
Had already experienced the skills I needed for this role, so was more a chance to get to know the company rather than the job role.
The Company
Friendly open atmosphere.
Intern tasks were the same day to day so the intern knew what was expected of them.
Gave opportunities for more responsible tasks throughout the placement.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
They do hire previous interns for the entry level roles if and when they become available.
The Culture
Social at the job but interns usually would have quite a way to travel home and so would be less likely to socialise outside of work.
Commuted from my family home, and the company reimbursed my travel expenses.
Commute from home so was used to nightlife offering.
After work get togethers mostly
