  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Everything was provided for me, absolutely spoiled, all questions were answered helpfully and the staff I worked with were all very friendly and helpful.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • While I knew some work was valued for the company, it felt in a lot of places like I was not actually needed in any way.

  • Support could not have been better.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Negotiation skills, Presentation skills and general analytical work has both helped me currently and seems like a skill that will be valuable during degree studies also.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • There was no downtime between activities and everything was planned on a seemingly hourly basis.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Enjoyed working with everyone, the work was stretching but never overwhelming. Everyone was enthusiastic but relaxed when needed.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • A keen eye was kept and I was told what I did well and what I could improve upon at the end of the course. Work was given in some places to suit my skills specifically.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • Work I was given was very similar to work given to others in my department, in some places involving actually receiving the work others in the department had if they thought it was relevant to my needs.

  • As well as talking throughout work, it gave an insight into what day-to-day life was like working at the company and was extremely enjoyable.

  • It showed me which areas I particularly enjoyed doing, and therefore which I was best at- It gave me insight into areas relevant to the firm that I was interested in.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • I was paid at the end of the work experience, however travel costs were not reimbursed.


  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • As well as meeting and interacting with other members of my insight program, I met people from my given department, and put into meetings with several important members of the firm.

  • Lots of fun, casual but very relevant. Included lots of helpful advice to succeed in my aspirations.

  • Lots of insight was given in a range of different areas, but detail into it was brief.

  • This was incredibly enjoyable and I gained a lot from it also.
