    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Would happily come back here given the chance! I only haven't given it full stars because it technically wasn't perfect!

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Very valued indeed, everyone here values each other whether they be intern or manager.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The main manager support I had was fantastic, unfortunately my direct manager (more of a supervisor) was a contractor and so didnt share quite the same enthusiasm towards me.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Again, this is simply down to having a contractor who didnt make time to come and assign me some work

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Large responsibility considering some of the documents I was signing off would go straight to the customer to be produced!

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • In terms of the real world the experience i gained was a huge benefit. However, if anything it showed me that my course at uni could be a lot more directed at the outside industry.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was very fun but mainly because there were four of us interns all sitting in a collective group of 4...we may have been the loudest in the office!

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Again, other than perhaps giving me a contractor as a manager, it was fantastic.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They even invested a few thousand pounds in me so that i could complete a CATIA CAD training course

    5/5
