  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The site is one of the most friendly enviroments I've been in. Everyone is willing to help, from managers to shop floor labour. Everyone seems to be smiling constantly in the company, even if you have a bad day the enviroment in the site will bring you up!

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Both my managers/mentors are constantly there to support me. They have helepd me gone through the adaptation process setting goals and objectives with me, worrying about my priorities and helping me ou tin evreything they can. They have even attended a meeting with my tutor from back at uni to let him know my process.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • As I am in the operations side of the business there is always something to do. Apart from my daily tasks I have specific projects to carry out once I have completed the daily tasks. Furthermore, there is always time to learn and go down to the Bulk strip or Detail strip section to learn more about the engines.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • As I work on the operations side, I am sometime sassigned with tasks that require quite a lot of responsability. As an example, I once had to delegate some priorities in the abscence of my manager. This makes me grow more confidence in myself and is helping me develop professionally as well as personally.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • On a daily basis there is various things that require different skills. Having to solve a problem on the spot or having to manage my time adequately and adapt to new tasks are helping me develop not only professionally in the industry, but gain skills taht will be transferable to my day to day life.
