    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very interesting and beneficial in the way of enhancing my CV

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • They were limited as to what they could give me to do so I didnt feel like I was helping them a great deal. But they said tiny things like I was doing helped a great deal as noone else had the time to fit them in. Organising files helped tremendously

    3/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My supervisor was off sick for a long period and the others left in charge of me gave me very little to do. I had to make the effort to be given things to do when that should not have been the case

    2/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • My supervisor was off sick for a long period and the others left in charge of me gave me very little to do so half of the week I was very bored

    2/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Not a great deal as I am not trained, but I was able to phone parents and make appointments for them and their child

    2/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My CV will look amazing for working in one of the best children's hospitals in the world and my knowledge of mental health has greatly increased, so I would say this work placement has been extremely beneficial to my future

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • very boring and hot.

    1/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • My supervisor was ill during the first 3 months of my placement and the others left in charge of me had nothing/set up nothing for me to do, despite me asking repeatedly. I was very disappointed and felt like it was a waste of time

    1/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They were all so busy all of the time they kind of forgot about me

    2/5
