The Role
Highly recommended!
I was given real projects which provided valuable results to other areas of research being carried out.
The manager was always around to assist with any problems I had, and were very helpful. However alot of the projects I was involved in required alot of background reading/ self teaching.
I was working on a number of projects which lasted the length of the placement. Most of my time was spent working on these, or researching the relevant areas.
I was in charge of how I carried out my research/ projects.
My placement with BAE provided me with lots of skills which will be beneficial to degree and also my future career.
The Company
I had clear deadline and projects so I always knew what was expected.
Weekly lectures were provided, and one to one training as and when it was needed.
Subsidised Canteen
The Culture
Lots of graduates, lots going on.
