The Role
Asos is a great company to work for. As an intern I was given a huge amount of responsibility and was awarded for my hard work in return. The only things I would fault are the amount of overtime that you are expected to work and also, not gaining some benefits that permanent employees (that are working at the same level) are given.
I couldn't have asked for a better team- amazing support throughout my placement.
My management were fully supportive throughout the placement.
Working on one of the busiest departments in menswear I was ridiculously busy every day. I didn't actually realise just how much work I had compared to other departments until I moved to another team in my final month, where the work load was halved!
I was given a huge amount of responsibility both on my department and in menswear.
The experience that I have gained has helped me to understand university work much more and think about issues in more detail. I can apply my experiences to my academic work. Working for Asos will also be great to help aid getting a job in the future/after studies.
The Company
Very busy and positive atmosphere.
Mostly great, however some of the training would have been more beneficial if offered earlier in the year.
Training was offered and also special speaker sessions were set up especially for interns.

Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would love to work for Asos again and my manager has asked for me to return to the company however, all employment goes through HR and I have been informed that I must wait to be contacted by them.
The Culture
There was little socialising exclusively between interns. This could have been encouraged more by Asos if they had held intern events.
Camden is reasonably priced compared to other London destinations.
The area is great for after work socialising/nights out.
Asos offer the chance for you to work with charities. Regular newsletters/ staff emails were sent to advertise this.
