  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed it very much! I had a great time.

  • I felt valued by my colleagues who were always willing to help me with anything I needed.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My manager supported me the most at the beginning by giving me an introduction to the industry. As weeks went by, I was given more freedom to work on my projects as well as explore other areas of the bank, which I enjoyed a lot.

  • I had very busy days, as well as days where I had little to do...it varied a lot.

  • My project included working with some confidential information.

  • Definitely helped me gaining a better work ethic as well as various other skills that will be useful for my studies and beyond.

  • The buzz of the trading floor is the best!

  • Generally very well organised with a lot of opportunities to work with other Academy and Undergraduate students as well as detailed feedback of our performance with areas for improvement.

  • Definitely a big investment in young people.
