The Role
They were a great company to work for. I loved my team, the whole environment at Asos is great. Obviously you will have not so good days but overall I felt it was an extremely valued experience.
As I got better at my job role I felt more valued by my team.
I had really great support from my co workers and had regular progress meetings with my Buyer.
Asos is so fast paced, you are pretty much busy all of the time.
I found it really satisfying in being given responsibility. You manage and prioritise your own work load so you feel great when you do a job well.
I developed my personal & professional skills in a way which you can not from sitting in a classroom. It has reaffirmed that Buying is what I want to do as my career.
The Company
There will be some tense times like on a Monday morning or near strategy were there is stress but this to be expected in any head office.
It was well organised and we did have development meetings & talks from other departments which were interesting.
They wanted me to learn as much as I could whilst on my placement.
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
I would definitely work there after graduating if I can.
The Culture
I made good friends with my colleagues.
Its London. It can get expensive.
London has awesome nightlife.
Asos often has socials, parties etc.
