    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • There were times during my placement year at Hays where the job was quite difficult but I think this is only a good thing, because you need to get the most out of your year so need to be stretched and learn as much as possible.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The culture at Hays is something I really enjoyed. Everyone was really welcoming, friendly and I have made some very good friends.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I felt very supported by colleagues and management and felt like I always had someone to talk to.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • If you want an easy placement then Hays is not for you. There is so much to do on a daily basis but if you are organised and have good time management skills then it is the perfect balance.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Lots! I was given responsibility from day one where I had the opportunity to run one of Hays big contracts.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have learnt so many transferrable skills and had such a good experience I would defiantly recommend a year at Hays.
