The Role
Placement was good, sometimes not a lot of work to do but overall I enjoyed it.
Don't think some people took me seriously because I was only an intern but that was only a few people!
My supervisor regularly visited me to see how I was getting on as did my manager
I was sometimes left with very little to do but that didn't happen that often
The work they gave me actually contributed to ongoing projects and wasn't just to fill my time which I really appreciated.
Some of the skills I learned in Excel will be useful for future studies.
The Company
It was relaxed and was an enjoyable environment.
Some things took a while to get organised but that was more security issues than anything else, otherwise it was good.
I got all the regular training a full time employee would get.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Above 25 days holiday
Definitely worth considering, only issue would be moving away.
The Culture
It was easy to organise going out etc. with other interns.
It was too expensive considering the area I was staying in, but that was just unlucky I think.
Again, the bit I was in wasn't great but if I stayed in a better area where some other interns were it would have been better.
Not many in my department but I think it was better in other departments.
