The Role
I enjoyed working for Language Connect
The colleagues treated me not as an intern but as if I were someone working there permanently.
All the colleagues and my supervisor were very helpful - they always answered all of my questions.
There were very busy days at certain periods and other days where there wasn't that much work to do - but it was good as it was!
I was shown all the things I had to do and was responsible to for about one week by the previous intern and than had to do all the things on my own - but could always ask the colleagues.
The skills are helpful, especially the ones regarding management and organisation, administration etc
The Company
very positive atmosphere - everyone was always helpful and work climate was very good
As there were always a couple of interns at the same time, the internship was very well organised - everyone had their tasks assigned and knew what to do
As it was only an internship, I only got a short introduction in some issues and that was it, but that's more than okay for an internship.
Company Parties/Events
am getting assignments as a freelancer from them every now and then
The Culture
with the other interns
cost of living in the city where I worked is very high
loads of pubs!!
there are loads of activities outside work there
