The Role
Really enjoyed the student placement and pursued a career at the adidas-Group as a result.
Moved around a number of departments and was always a valued member of the team.
A detail placement plan was drawn out by myself and members of management to ensure I got the most from the placement. Management are always available for support and guidance if necessary.
Always plenty of work to be getting on with, with help always available if the workload got too heavy.
Was always shadowing others throughout the placement; however had a lot of important jobs which I was solely responsible for.
Gained knowledge and experience of a variety of departments which helped increase my understanding of how a large business like the adidas-Group operates.
The Company
Very laid back atmosphere in which people are trusted to get on with their work.
A plan was produced by myself and management to ensure I got the most possible out of the placement.
A lot of time was invested in me on each department, ensuring I picked up each role quickly. This allowed me to feel like a full-time employee and not just a student on placement.

Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Stayed on at the adidas-Group part-time during my final year at university and managed to secure a full-time role shortly after completing my degree.
The Culture
Plenty of opportunities to meet up with colleagues outside of work. Some arranged by the company, and some arranged by the individual departments.
Already lived in the Manchester area so I found the costs of living/ socialising quite cheap.
Not far from Manchester which has a very good nightlife.
Plenty of sports opportunities and social opportunities arranged by the company.
