The Role
A very enjoyable and fulfilling placement experience
I was encouraged by my manager to input ideas into a range of situations. For a first business experience, this was invaluable
Regular 121 meetings with a senior manager
A steady workload
Objectives and expectations were made clear at the start of the placement. I was given autonomy to ensure these were achieved
Did not study further due it being a gradutae position, but skills learned have since been of great benefit
The Company
A great atmosphere to work.
Objectives and expectations made clear
Superb advice and training given by line manager. Structured group training courses were limited on my internship although I have since had the opportunity to attend these
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
A very high placement/ internship retention rate speaks for itself
The Culture
Very good, especially living in Manchester
A lot more affordable than London.
I lived in Manchester, which is a fantastic city to live
They do exist, but there is no social commitee as such
