The Role
I've really enjoyed my placement, the people at adidas are young and vibrant and combinging work with my huge interest in sport makes the job very enjoyable.
The people at adidas are great and everyone gets on brilliantly. I've not had a problem with anyone, they're all very helpful and give you the opportunity to show what you can do.
I've probably had more guidance by my University rather than adidas themselves.
Good balance of work. Busy period at the start and end of each month but good time in between to get on with your own things such as university work and being innovative and making processes more efficient.
Although i wasnt responsible for many big decisions i still feel valued and motivated for the parts im responsible for.
I feel ive learnt a lot. Its improved me as a person and i believe it will certainly improve both my studies and employment after university
The Company
Everyones always having a laugh and they're all really sociable!
In terms of how its gone, i dont think they could do much more to improve it. I've seen various aspects of the bsuiness and learnt a lot. I do feel there could be more training/development though.
There has been no specific development in terms of personal training. I got taught my key tasks and then i feel i've made personal progress through everyday work as opposed to actaul training sessions.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
They seem quite keen on my working for them after university and i would be delighted to have the opportunity to continue here
The Culture
Not really between other student placements but the majority of my colleagues are all quite young and really social so its been great
I lived it at home whilst on placement so really cheap for that bit! I know renting locally is quite cheap however gets rather expensive the close into the city of manchester you get.
Manchesters a grear night out
Always football or something going on to get involved in if you wanted
