The Role
There are numerous different modules during the programme, some of which were stimulating and well supported and some of which were not.
Again, the different modules take you to different stores where you work with different teams. Some of these are very receptive and qualified to train grads such as myself and some are not.

A lot of the learning is self-driven which is great, however a lot of the time because i had no solid accountabilities i found myself with spare time.

I feel like i learned more on this placement year with regards to real life situations and work than i have in all the rest of my education combined. it has well and truly made me more prepared for life after education.
The Company
Some of the teams i worked in well well established whereas some were brand new and were still bonding with one another.
Some modules of the placement i felt like there was a solid plan in place for me whereas with some there seemed to be none at all. In general the placement as a whole has a relevant structure which is adhered to, for the most part.
A lot. Paid travel to courses all over the company. 4* hotels in London for conferences with members of the board etc.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Healthcare/Dental
I have been offered a full time graduate job with the company after finishing uni.
The Culture
All other placement students were similar to myself and i've made some friends for life.
I worked in one of the most affluent villages in the company.
Staff nights out never failed to entertain....
Yes. I got involved in 2 national charity events, one of which was a 24 hour bike ride around a motor car track in the midlands where we broke the guiness record for scale of event.
