  • 5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • 4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I felt I had the perfect balance as I always had enough work, but also had enough time to complete the placement duties set by my university.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Definitely skills for life. In particular the excel skills as this will really help me in my final year of uni, also time management so that I know how to have a good work/life balance. I think the office and email protocol is a really important skill that I have learnt in my year at Volkswagen.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • I really enjoyed the office atmosphere, because I was in SEAT which is a smaller brand I got to know everyone around the office and that were all extremely friendly. I also really enjoyed the socials and brand updates that we had.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It was extremely well set up, however I feel the scheme would benefit from a mentor programme with someone on the management team. Also i would say with the volume of work it felt more like full time job rather than a placement scheme however that can be a good thing due to the experienced gained.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • In terms of training the investment was good as there were plenty of courses available to book onto. Also the amount of time invested in you by your manager was extremely good, a mentor scheme would have been a bonus though.
