The Role
The placement was a good mix of professional level work and responsibility as well as a chance for learning and experience.
All my colleagues were friendly and supportive. Everyone was approachable and willing to chat.
I was given an ample amount of support and guidance but this did not overshadow me, I was able to get on with my work independently without being constantly checked up on unless I asked for assistance.
The work level was adequate, if I needed more work I needed only to ask for it. My team leader was very helpful in making sure I always had enough to do.
I was given a large amount of responsibility and trusted to complete tasks to a professional degree, however if I ever needed help and support then it was always there. I felt comfortable with the level of responsibility given and glad I was trusted to this extent.
I was given plenty of training and gained a large amount of knowledge from this position. The skills I have gained will help me throughout university and my future career.
The Company
It was a lively open plan office and an enjoyable workspace. The flexible desking scheme incorporated encouraged networking between teams and groups.
It was a well organised placement with all information given to me within good time.
I was given the same training opportunities as everyone else and encouraged to attend training courses.

I have been offered a sponsorship programme and will hopefully return to work with them.
The Culture
As we all started together on the same induction day and there are several in work events for new starters we all had a good social group.
The area had a lot to do around and there were plenty of social places.
There is a fair amount of nightlife, with plenty of clubs and pubs in the city centre.
There is plenty of sports facilities and clubs around among other clubs and facilities of the area.
