  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • There was a variety of panel discussions, case studies and work shadowing that made it enjoyable.

    • Employees were always willing to help us out, even when they were busy.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • Generally we were told where to go and what to do, but I did feel that for the group presentation we could have been given better department-specific advice. HR were always supportive.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • You learn loads about banking within a very short period of time, so the information received is very helpful, though the skills need to be developed over time.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Timetable and booklet were provided at the start of the programme and generally everything was kept to the times outlined.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • Enjoyed every minute of it. Everyone is really friendly which adds to how much you enjoy the week.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Organised lots of events and shadowing/ panel discussions, which clearly took a lot of time and expense.

    • Explained the summer internship very well, but not much was mentioned about the graduate programme and full-time work.

    • Everything lead back to the culture and the current focus of the girm

    • Very useful as it helped you to decide if you wanted to apply for an internship

    • Travel and accommodation provided

    • Networking lunches, a networking dinner as well as a rotational panel discussion meant there was lots of chances.

    • Really relaxed chance to meet people who answered lots of our questions
