  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really valuable experience - would highly recommend it for anyone thinking of going into banking or looking to find out more about the industry

  • Everyone was welcoming and I received credit for work well done

  • Generally supportive and forthcoming with guidance when asked

  • Mostly quite busy, although there were a few quiet days as was typical for the summer

  • The learning curve can be quite steep at the beginning, but I felt like I had gained a lot by the end of the internship

  • Pleasant, although there was some stress as was to be expected

  • Intensive one-week training covering all the basics

  • Received an offer! Rothschild would be a great place to work - the training is excellent, and although you have to be realisitic about the working hours the lifestyle is probably better than at other places in the industry

  • Everyone was quite sociable although often too busy to properly socialise

  • Expensive, as it was in the City

  • Tends to be quiet at night and on weekends
