  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Learnt a lot and felt at ease

  • Most people welcomed interns and were happy to meet me, some indivduals went out of their way to teach me

  • My manager was out of the office a lot as he is quite senior

  • Some days i had nothing to do, others i had lots and was rushed.

  • Answering customer queries and writing credit reports, very responsible.

  • Learned a lot, including how to be professional and in an office environment

  • Very lively office, perhaps a little too loud sometimes

  • Bad transition from HR to job, boss didn't know i was coming until a week before and had to chase for my CV

  • Some individuals were very good, but on the whole there is not much training at Santander, no courses etc

  • Very likely to take on interns into grad roles

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Could have worked on, rarely met up with interns. Was lucky as i found fellow interns when i went for lunch, but otherwise no.

  • Department good at dinners out and business lunches

  • No nightlife
