  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Highly enjoyable, but would be interesting to explore other areas of the company also

    • Very valued, 1 on 1 tutorials, meetings and invitation to everything. Kept informed and in the loop as a full-time employee

    • Guidance was fantastic and whenever I needed help I got it, but equally I was given space to develop my own ideas and projects that came out of my initiative. A perfect balance.

    • Sometimes I voluntarily came to office early and left late because the workload was heavy, but the work was useful and interesting and I was happy to dedicate it extra time

    • An amazing amount of trust was placed in me, including contact with and individual presentation to very senior NY HQ management and a big client/prospect pool

    • Enhanced analytical and software skills, gaining tremendous knowledge about finance and the trading process

    • The office is amazing and the people are all so nice and fun

    • Very well organised, but also given space to deviate and craft my own path

    • Living at home, travel expensive, social = London, expensive in comparison to non-capital cities, but a lot of social events subsidized by the company
