  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was very busy on a daily basis, while the volume of work would differ significantly depending on how close we were to a films release. I had to work hard and make sure i was prioritizing tasks correctly and keeping track of my work load to ensure everything was complete on time. In general its a very quick paced environment.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given an amazing amount of responsibility during my placement, as you report directly into a marketing manager when they are absent you have to manage both yours and their own work load. I also got to manage the release of two titles at theatrical, and set the strategies for an other too titles which was a fantastic and rewarding experience.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • From the high level of responsibility, fast paced demanding work environment and projects i was given to manage i have really had to push myself this year and in the process gained a huge amount of new skills as well as developing others significantly. in terms of training i have completed several external IT courses, script reading course as well as a set of internal development training sessions including presenting which was particularly valuable. Those who thrive in fast paced environments and want to really push themselves and be given real responsibilities and deliver real value to a business won't be disappointed with this placement.
