  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • So much better than I was anticipating! Absolutely love it and really dont want to leave!

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • Everyone was incredibly friendly, and even though it is a big company, it felt like people really made an effort to get to know me!

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • I was given a lot of support from multiple supervisors, who were very approachable and went out of their way to explain things to me.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • There was never a moment where I had no work to do, and I got a chance to get involved in a lot of different projects.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I was given important work to do from the first day, and got a chance to input my ideas to a lot of the projects that I helped out on.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I have gained many transferable skills that will be very beneficial when undertaking my MSc degree. It was nice to see how all the knowledge i'd gained from my undergraduate degree actually gets applied to real situations and projects.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Everyone was very comfortable with each other which made the atmosphere really nice to be in.

    • Everything went smoothly during my first few weeks when I was getting used to everything.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • I was given a lot of responsibility and given important work to do. Everyone went out of their way to make sure that I was getting along well and that I had no problems.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?

    • Hopefully I will be able to work with the team after I have completed my MSc!

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • I made a lot of friends, and the team went out for drinks now and then.

    • Prices you'd expect to pay in a city.

    • Birmingham has incredible nightlife!

    • I had opportunities to join in with the running and sports groups.
