  • Incredible people, great job and great training.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Due to the branch being run by fairly small teams of staff (location dependent) you end up spending a lot of time with each other and getting to know each other. They help you along the way and with the right people can make your day so much better.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Support was on hand all the time, not just from management but from other trainees as well that have gone through the same stuff you have,

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Most days are very busy and the nature of the business means it is unpredictable but its a challenge and its great.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • You are encouraged to run the business as if it were your own, this gives you a great set of skills to learn and they will truly help you in life.

    5/5

  • A small close knit team to friendships are there and the atmosphere when you get the rare bit of downtime is great.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The placement was well set up and there was plenty to do, you are thrown a bit into the deep end but that's the best bit.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • A lot of effort has gone into my training and a lot of people have helped me out not just from my branch, but from all the other branches.

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There wasn't too much socialising with other placement students but this was due to geographical factors however with other colleagues there were plenty of social events and time to do them.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • It was very expensive but that was due to the location I chose to do my placement, it was a premium inner city area.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • predominantly student night life due to it being a popular student university which was ideal.

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There are a myriad of community care days that are great for helping others, however the work life balance during very busy periods can go downhill and it can be difficult to get to other activities outside of work.
