The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed my placement, has really helped with my development and I look forward to going back next summer
Both team and project managers were really supportive of inputs and gave me some great development opertunities
Occasional quiet patches but on the whole always had something to be getting on with.
Useful time management and team working skills that will help me through Uni and onwards into the future
The Company
Occasional timing issues or quiet patches but on the whole everything was run very well
Company invested a lot and gave me some brilliant opportunities to develop and learn. Was basically treated like I was entering the company on their graduate scheme
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Got on to DSTL student sponsorship scheme for future summer placements and possibly a job after university
The Culture
Really good group of people who, even though I was the youngest there, always tried to keep everyone in the loop on what was going on.
Portsmouth and the south coast can be quite expensive but in general you can still afford to get out there and do things.
It's nothing special but it does the job!
Wide range of activities, for instance I have now become involved in triathlon having never done it before this year!
