  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really enjoyed my month with Savills, Had a variety of responsibilities and the office were very welcoming, they made sure I felt part of the team.

  • They really appreciated my help with even the smallest of tasks.

  • I was given a good balance of support but not overbearing supervision.

  • I was busy everyday in the first 3 weeks. I can tell they have been running out of things for me to do in the last week even though I ask continuously.

  • I would have liked to have been challenged more.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have learnt a lot from being in an office environment. The skills I have developed will help me beyond University rather than in my degree itself.

  • Could have been better organised so I had more to do in my last week of work.

  • I will be applying to the Graduate Scheme 2014, where I hope I will be successful in the south.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Within one month I have been out for lunch/dinner with colleagues three times.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Pretty average for food and drink.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I didn;t have the chance to explore the nighlife but I havn't heard great reviews.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • I was commuting to Perth from Edinburgh so activities outside of work would be difficult as well as the commute.
