    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Great experience of what it feels like to work at one of the biggest financial institutions in the world. If you're willing to learn then you can pick up so much in the 10 weeks.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Colleagues made me feel like one of the team, integrated into the team immediately and given responsibilities like everyone else.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was immediately taken under the wing of my manager and had alot of advice and guidance given to me by varying senior members of management. Felt like they had a genuine interest in making sure that I had a successful internship.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Relatively busy, but you would be required to ask for extra work to do, which I believe is an important key aspect to learn.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • A relatively high level of responsibility. Obviously there were certain aspects of my work that would need to be ran by more senior members of the team, but I was very much left to my own devices to perform my work and finish my projects.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The training I recieved got my up to scratch and able to deal with alot of the usual issues that other colleagues were capable of solving.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Good atmosphere, occasionally somes jokes and banter, but still very professional and friendly.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Quite well organised. HR constantly organised events to attend and my manager seemed to always have some work available for me to do.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
