Business Analyst in Technology for Social Good Review

You are given real responsibilities, that have genuine impact. I learnt more in these 10 weeks, than 2 years at university.

Women are respected. Interns are respected. It is a fantastic working culture, everyone is very honoured and respect is key. You can be the brainiest person in the world, but with the wrong attitude, it would be unlikely you would be taken on.

Training resources are provided to us from day one, if we want polish up in certain areas or need to learn something new, my colleagues were always happy to sit down with me at my desk, if I was struggling with something and talk me through it.

Although sometimes I was edging on too busy, it was great to be stuck into things, as empty days can be boring.

I was immediately put as project lead, on quite a large project, and had to manage a team to get an event up and running. It was a fantastic opportunity, and I felt trusted, and gave me a chance to shine in project management and people skills.

Everything I learnt here will stay with me for life, as they are skills I will need to use in everyday life.

There was a constant working buzz, but you could hear office banter around the office a lot. The only time it became dull was around August time, when many people are on holiday, so it only that the office is empty.

Every aspect of this internship was completely organised, I was called up 3 weeks before my start date by my new manager to check how I was, to give me a brief insight into my role, and to tell me exactly what to do and where to go on my first day. I was so impressed by the organisation.

Our first 2 days, are training and induction and then we are directed to an internal training centre, where we can choose any course and if we feel it will benefit our role/personal development, our managers pay for us to complete them.

I would love to have a job in this company. It would be an absolute privilege to work with the people here.

A lot of great nights out, and some amazing events arranged for the interns by HR.

London is very expensive, whereever you choose to work, if you are in London, it will be bad. However, we are paid well, so it is less painful!

Very good nightlife, everything is very close together in London, so can travel 5 mins to somewhere lese if you get bored of where you are!

There were a few theatre trips, sailing trips and also HR arranged for us to be involved in charity days, where we helped with the maintenance in Mile end park, painting fences, and gardening.
