  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Often little work to do, and wasn't pushed in any way.

  • Often used as a junior resource, but buddy system meant that my queries were swiftly answered.

  • A partner specially organised my rotation in Corporate Finance.

  • Often had very little work to do, but this varied from job to job.

  • Often had very little work to do, but this varied from job to job. On some jobs I held one-on-one client meetings, whilst on others I was left to do filing.

  • Presentational skills and confidence to address colleagues has been helpful, but other than that the work was not challenging so little benefit has been derived.

  • Pleasant if a little quiet. Sports teams helped!

  • Fairly well, though some managers seemed unwilling to have interns and didn't offer much work.

  • There was an away weekend at a hotel in Warwickshire with team building exercises, and a some internal training in the office.

  • I have taken a job elsewhere in a different sector. The work itself was dull, although the company was impressive and the people pleasant.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We had to organise most of this ourselves, but the other interns were fun and interesting!

  • An expensive place to live, but good travel links so possible to commute.
