    • Everyone at Schroders encouraged and helped interns feel like a valuable member of the team.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • Quite busy for the majority of the time but not so busy on certain days. This was to be expected as employees took summer holidays.

    • As much as would be expected during an internship.

    • A number of training sessions organised by HR helped develop a number of skills.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • I found there to be a nice office environment with a great mix of work and conversation. Made for a good atmosphere

    • No faults with Schroders with the organisation of the internship. Organised plenty of events for interns which was enjoyable.

    • Each intern is invested in. Training is provided in a number of areas, feedback is given by line-managers and support is given from HR

    • Prospects for interns appeared to be quite high amoung the entire group but certainly not a given

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • A number of social events were organised with a great turnout from other interns

    • Bars in the city are quite expensive for socialising

    • Bar scene was quite lively but need to go elsewhere for clubs
