    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I loved it! such a great atmosphere, a young company so there's always something going on.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • You do the same job as full time members so you are equally as valued and always receive praise if you do well.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • managers were always there to help if you needed it. Even the CEO usually has his door open if you want a chat

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • It varied. Some days were so busy and I did a lot of overtime (you're not made to, sometimes it helps) but some months were very quiet. I preferred it when it was busy

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • You have to prove yourself first but yes there are opportunities to take on more responsible roles and at the end of placement it is your job to train the next batch of students

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have learnt more skills on placement than I could have ever learnt at uni. Definitley a really important year for me

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Good atmosphere, people worked hard but there is so much praise when you do well. Theres also some really fun socials.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Great, really enjoyed it

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • With a lot of students it is hard for managers to 'invest' lots of time in me, but I feel that everyone is very valued in the company

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Subsidised/Company Gym

    National Travel

    Financial Bonus

    Company Parties/Events

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Would definitely consider coming back. Only downside is the cost of living in Windsor

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Because many people are or have been students, most people have moved to Windsor for the job so there is loads of social stuff all the time as well as the company-organised stuff

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Windsor is expensive! but a lovely place to live. House prices were more than expected

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • pretty good in comparison to the student union!

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Not that I participated in but there was a cycling race, football teams, rubgy teams etc
